About
Luxury Sport Sedan formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2025. We play loud, blurry music that borrows from shoegaze, punk, and alt rock without fully belonging to any of them.
We started as a two-piece — Jordan and Sam recording demos on a laptop in a kitchen — and became a full four-piece when Alex and Mira joined a few months in. The name was a joke that got stuck.
Our debut EP Static Youth came out in 2024. Our single Slowburn is out now. More is coming.

The Members
Jordan Keys
vocals / guitar
Grew up in Halifax. Started playing guitar at 14. Writes most of the songs in pieces — a riff here, a line there — and then brings them in half-finished for the rest of the band to either complete or destroy.
Day job: works at a used record store. This is relevant to everything.
Gear: Fender Jazzmaster, various Boss and EHX pedals, a Fender amp that buzzes at high volumes in a way everyone agrees is a feature.
Sam Voss
guitar / keys
Originally from New Brunswick. Came to Halifax for school, stayed for reasons that are unclear even to her. Plays guitar and keys, sometimes simultaneously, always running through at least one broken piece of gear.
Responsible for most of the weird textural sounds in the recordings. Has opinions about reverb that she will share unprompted.
Gear: Fender Telecaster, Casio keyboard from 1989, a preamp that technically doesn't work but sounds correct, various pedals in an order nobody else knows.
Alex Quinn
bass
Halifax born. Has been playing bass since high school, plays with a pick, does not care what you think about that. Bass lines are minimal by design: holding the bottom so everything else can drift.
Also built this website. It took a weekend and too much coffee.
Gear: Fender Precision Bass, Ampeg combo amp, one overdrive pedal, a tuner. No more, no less.
Mira Song
drums
Joined the band after answering a post on a local music Facebook group. Had never listened to shoegaze before. Within three practice sessions she understood it better than the rest of the band combined.
Her drumming is the structural anchor. Steady when it needs to be, enormous when the song requires it. Always on time to practice. We appreciate this more than we say.
Gear: Pearl Export kit, Zildjian cymbals, sometimes brushes on the quieter parts, never quiet for long.
